Florida SBDC Network Partners with Verizon to Empower Small Businesses Through Digital Readiness Program
 
 
 
Pensacola, FL – The Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, is proud to announce a new partnership with Verizon’s Small Business Digital Ready Program, a nationwide initiative designed to equip small businesses with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive in today’s digital economy.
 
This collaboration brings Verizon’s robust suite of free online courses, expert coaching, peer networking, and grant opportunities directly to Florida’s small business community. Through this partnership, entrepreneurs and small business owners across the state will gain access to customized learning paths covering topics such as branding, cybersecurity, funding, legal essentials, online marketing, and more.
 
“We’re thrilled to join forces with Verizon to expand digital access and education for Florida’s small businesses,” said Greg Britton, state director of the Florida SBDC Network. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to help Florida’s small businesses launch, grow and thrive by equipping them with the digital tools and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s economy.”
 
Verizon’s Digital Ready platform is open to all small businesses at no cost and does not require a Verizon subscription. The Florida SBDC Network encourages all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their digital capabilities and build a more resilient future. 
 
Businesses can register here and begin exploring the platform’s offerings, including over 100 curated courses, specialty offers on various business-related products, and access to $10,000 grant opportunities awarded throughout the year.

For nearly 50 years, the Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of business assistance [Fl.
