$850,000 Settlement Secured for Cyclist Injured in Collier County Collision
|
|
After a routine bike ride in Collier County turned catastrophic for our client, Firm Partner Jeff Gordon fought tirelessly and secured an $850,000 policy-limits settlement on his behalf.
As our client, an active cyclist, lawfully entered a crosswalk, a motorist making a careless turn failed to yield and struck him. The impact launched him into the air and threw him across the intersection, where he landed on the roadway.
He was knocked unconscious and airlifted to the hospital, where he was treated for multiple serious injuries, including a head injury with scalp laceration, fractures to three lumbar vertebrae and a pelvic fracture. |

"I consider myself very lucky that I was recommended to have Joe Landy represent me after a car accident.
I learned about him from a retired local attorney, and hearing he has a great reputation among other lawyers is what led me to call him. He always returned my calls in a timely manner and explained every aspect of the process to me with patience.
You can just tell he is a kind, hard-working person who is also very, very good at his job. Jessica, who works with him, is wonderful too! Thank you, Joe Landy! "
