How Fostering The Future Will Help Shape The Bright Futures of
Foster Youth in America |
|
| Place of Hope appears on NewsMax to discuss the power of this new initiative. |
|
Charles Bender, Founding CEO of Place of Hope, recently appeared on Newsmax with Shannon Cake to discuss First Lady Melania Trump’s new initiative, Fostering the Future.
This national spotlight is a powerful step forward in raising awareness about the critical needs of youth aging out of foster care—young adults who often lack the support, guidance, and opportunities they deserve.
During her first term, Mrs. Trump visited Place of Hope, met several of our incredible youth, and even invited them to Mar-a-Lago for a special brunch. Her continued commitment to this cause is inspiring, and we are grateful to see leaders shining a light on this urgent issue.
Together, we can provide these young people with a hand up—not a handout—toward a brighter future. |
|
| Charles also appeared on WPBF to discuss Place of Hope's representation at the White House. |
|
|
|
"I was so honored and blessed to be asked to visit The White House and witness the signing of this Executive Order, emanating from Mrs. Trump’s heart and passions for America’s youth.
I represented each of us who make Place of Hope possible and God’s continual provision. This shines a bright light into dark places in our nation - the foster care system. This is tremendous, and there is nothing but upside to helping our most vulnerable youth in our great nation."

An Invitation to Make Twice the Difference Before the Year Ends
|
|
As this year draws to a close, now is the time to maximize your charitable impact and secure 2025 tax benefits.
Four reasons you should give now:
· Tax deductions: Gifts made by December 31 qualify for 2025 deductions.
· Plan ahead: Early giving helps you be strategic.
· Immediate impact: Your generosity will create immediate and eternal impact.
· YOUR GIFT WILL BE DOUBLED! Make twice the impact with your gift.
A longtime friend of Place of Hope, who believes deeply in this mission, has pledged a momentous year-end matching gift. Every donation made before December 31 will be matched—dollar for dollar.
That means your tax-deductible gift will go twice as far to provide:
· Safe housing and family-style foster care for abused and neglected children
· Transitional housing and mentoring for aged-out foster youth and single mothers
· Trauma therapy and recovery programs for survivors of human trafficking
· Education, enrichment, and hope for generations to come
Together, we are defending the fatherless, uplifting the brokenhearted, and building a future filled with promise.
Please give before December 31 to have your gift doubled and your impact multiplied. |
|
Important Dates You Should Know When Making Your Year-End Gift
|
|
Checks: Must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service on or before December 31, 2025.
Credit Cards: The charge must be successfully processed by 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2025 (in your time zone).
Wire Transfers (Cash): Funds must be received in the charity's or donor-advised fund (DAF) account by December 31, 2025. It is recommended to initiate the transfer by December 23 to ensure timely completion.
Publicly Traded Securities/Stock: The gift is deductible when the shares are received in the charity's or DAF account. Brokers often recommend initiating transfers by early-to-mid December to allow for processing time.
Mutual Funds: Processing can take several weeks. Initiate the transfer process by mid-to-late November to ensure it is completed by year-end.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from an IRA: The funds must leave your IRA account and be received by the charity by December 31, 2025. This strategy is available to donors aged 70½ or older. |

How You Can Be Blessed and Be A Blessing This Holiday Season
|
|
|
This holiday season, Place of Hope will serve hundreds of children, youth, and families across our campuses and throughout the greater community.
Many of our children and youth will experience the joy of Christmas or Hanukkah for the very first time, creating new, hope-filled memories with their foster siblings and Cottage Parents. Our young single mothers will celebrate their first holidays as moms, while many local families in need would go without gifts or celebration—if not for you.
We have 3 ways you can support Place of Hope this year:
SHOP THEIR WISHLISTS: Help us cross off our Christmas and Hanukkah wish lists by shopping from these registries and have the items shipped directly to our campuses or drop off at one of our "Santa's Helpers" drop off locations. All gifts should be unwrapped.
PURCHASE A GIFT CARD! Gift cards during Christmas and Hanukkah are especially helpful, making them a thoughtful and practical choice for holiday giving! We accept VISA, AMEX gift cards of any amount, as well as Target, Walmart, Amazon, and restaurant gifts cards. Deliver all gift cards to Place of Hope at 9078 Isaiah Lane, Palm Beach Gardens by December 10.
MAKE A MEAL: Consider making a meal for one of our families. Most meals should serve 6-8 children and adults. |

ICYMI! Hope Bash Boca - Everglades Ball
|
|
Our 12th Annual Hope Bash Boca: Everglades Ball, presented by Michelle Hagerty, was an unforgettable evening of purpose, celebration, and impact.
We are deeply grateful to our Honorary Chairs, Wendy and Vince Sadusky, and our Co-Chairs, Zaicha and Craig Spodak and Julie and Alex Gulick, for their leadership. Special thanks to our Co-Chair Committee—Justin Ely and Sara Benz, Christy and Nate Hamilton, Rebecca and Morten Jorgensen, Amanda and Jesse Rack, Jessie and Billy Marino, Amanda Sindledecker and Jack Leander, Nikki and Craig Stelzer, Michelle and John Walsh, Stacey and Howard Werner, and Haley and Brad Winstead—whose passion brought this event to life.
We were honored to recognize Haley and Brad Winstead as our 2025 Jay DiPietro Heroes of Hope. As leaders within our God’s Children. Our Future. Campaign and devoted advocates for our mission, they exemplify the heart of Place of Hope.
This sold-out gala— inspired by the strength and resilience of Florida’s Everglades—highlighted the transformation possible when vulnerable children and families are surrounded by safety, stability, and hope. Through God’s hand and your support, doors continue to open for those in desperate need. We remain grateful for your partnership as we live out Isaiah 1:17.
Your generosity is fueling extraordinary growth across our campuses—from the Rinker Campus in Boca Raton, to our Bender Family Campus in Stuart, our flagship Paxson Campus, Donna’s Place at The Villages, and the Sam & Connie Frankino KidSanctuary Campus in West Palm Beach—while expanding our statewide initiatives and strengthening our endowment for the future. |
