FORT PIERCE, Fla. – December 22, 2025 — Cigna Healthcare’s funding will provide more than 80,000 meals to families facing food insecurity along the Treasure Coast. This generosity allows Treasure Coast Food Bank to continue its mobile food programming, offering essential groceries and fresh produce to households in need. These initiatives are crucial as rising grocery prices and the holiday season make it increasingly difficult for many families to access nutritious food.
“We are deeply committed to supporting the overall mental and physical health of residents throughout the Treasure Coast community and having access to nutritious food is a large part of those individuals’ wellness,” said Jonathan Enriquez, market leader for Cigna Healthcare’s Individual and Family Plan (IFP) business in Florida. “We are proud to partner with Treasure Cost Food Bank and others in the community to help meet those needs.”
This year, the need is even greater. Treasure Coast Food Bank has seen a significant increase in demand for services as more families struggle with rising costs and other economic challenges. To address this, Treasure Coast Food Bank and Cigna Healthcare recently teamed up on mobile food distribution events in Lakewood Park and the Martin County Fairgrounds to provide fresh produce and other goods to local residents.
“Cigna Healthcare’s generosity has made a meaningful impact on our mission to alleviate hunger,” said Judith Cruz, President and CEO of Treasure Coast Food Bank. “Their support allows us to bring health and hope to families facing food insecurity, and reflects a shared effort to building stronger communities.”
Cigna Healthcare’s support demonstrates the impact that community-focused philanthropy can have throughout the region. To learn more about Treasure Coast Food Bank’s holiday offerings and how you can help, visit[stophunger.org] StopHunger.org.
