Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Appliance & Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining residential and light commercial dryer vent systems, as well as providing appliance cleaning services. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values customer service, and wants flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dryer vent cleaning services to improve airflow and reduce fire hazards.
- Conduct appliance cleaning services, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and other household appliances.
- Inspect dryer vent systems for lint buildup, blockages, or potential safety issues.
- Educate customers on proper maintenance practices and recommend service schedules.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and up to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Accurately document services performed and collect payments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in home services, HVAC, maintenance, or cleaning is a plus (but not required—training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures.
- Comfortable working in residential settings and using basic tools.
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment as needed.
- Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
