Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant with at least some understanding of medical billing. The ideal candidate will play a role in providing exceptional patient service and billing within our chiropractic practice. This position requires a mild understanding of anatomy, as well as the ability to submit billing to insurance companies. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, conversate and provide a welcoming environment.
- Verify insurance co-pays and deductibles.
- Assist the chiropractor during patient assessments and treatment sessions if needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including billing through Chirofusion EHR.
- Assist in delivering patient's treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies.
- Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups effectively.
Requirements
- Strong patient service skills with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
- Knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient assessments effectively. (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to learn medical terminology that is essential for billing and record-keeping.
- Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently when needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff.

Pay and hours
$18 Per hour ~ 40hrs per week.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm and 2:30pm – 7:30pm
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am – 1:30pm
Training Schedule
Hours 1-40: Training videos, Patient greeting, Answering the phone, Scheduling, Onboarding new patients, intake forms, inputting documents, downloading diagnostic studies, verifying insurance benefits.
Hours 41-80: Learning equipment, how to address frequently asked questions, patient / equipment setup, collecting payments, recording notes for treatment and billing, providing patients with return to work notes, missed school notes, light duty notes, etc.
Hour 81-120: Training videos for billing and insurance compliance requirements, HIPPA manual and test, Practice approving charges, Practice submitting billing, Provide patients with financial policy and Good Faith Estimate of pricing for care plan.
